Starting with the Black Limba neck and Macassar Ebony board. The Modern Elliptical shape plays quick and comfortably, the satin finish glides under the hand. The Waterfall Burl Maple with Bengal Burst top adds to the visual aesthetics by highlighting the depth of the wood that shine through. Scrape binding shows off the maple and ties everything together well. You'll have no shortage of tones with the HSH setup and 5-Way blade. The Thornbucker and Thornbucker Plus + V60 pickups sound great together. The Thornbucker pickups are born out of a desire to give guitarists a humbucking pickup set that has all of the best attributes of the coveted 50’s “patent applied for” style pickups… with none of the downsides. Suhr has also included a few modern touches: four conductor wiring, a variety of spacings, and the consistency and quality that Suhr is known for.
