We are always excited to add another member to our guitar family, our newest piece comes from Liggett, making truly unique one of a kind guitars out of Oklahoma! A former machinist turned luthier, Ben Liggett got his start in the banjo world, soon transitioning into building his own guitars - specializing in exotic tonewoods, custom inlays, and quality components..all made 100% by hand, one at a time.
Brand new Master Tier Abstrac-T Picasso from Liggett, his take on the Tele platform...but as he puts it " Not your daddy's Tele." With a super smooth, Rosewood neck, chambered Mahogany body and a host of modern features such as the multi scale fingerboard / Fanned Frets, Lollar pickups and a stunning Burl top...making this one an amazing package that sounds just as good as it looks!
A word from Liggett about their unique chambering process:
"The true heart of this guitar is not visible from the outside. “Speaker Cone chambering” is a new development for Liggett Guitars, and results is a highly responsive, resonant guitar. The chambers are not made to reduce overall instrument weight, but to increase sustain and liveliness in the instrument. We call this chambering system “speaker cone” because the chambers emanate from the bridge, the main point of vibration on the body. "
