It quickly became a favorite amoung touring and session players. 1987 is when Tyler's iconic headstock first showed up on a guitar and it's the year Tyler went full time into building.
Tyler is a pioneer in the guitar industry, pushing the boundaries and making some of the best guitars on the planet. To celebrate that pivotal year, they've created the Studio Elite 1987. This guitar captures the spirit of California and is packed with tones that harken back to the early James Tyler guitars which some modern ehancements.
