Description
The SYN-DRIVE is one of Shin’s Music’s newest dual drive pedals, combining two of the company’s most popular pedals: Clean Drive Plus and the ODX-10.
Rather than being two completely unrelated channels, the SYN-DRIVE is designed so the two circuits complement each other and can be stacked for a wide range of boutique overdrive tones. The Clean Drive Plus features Shin’s classic low-to-medium gain sounds providing complex harmonics, a tube like feel that emphasizes pick attack dynamics with a wide frequency response, and without the heavy mid-hump of a Tube Screamer. This side of the pedal works wonderfully as an “always on” tone enhancer.
The ODX-10 side is voiced around the character of the classic Ibanez TS-10 Tube Screamer, but refined in typical Shin's fashion.
Compared with a stock TS-10, you’ll notice smoother midrange, a more natural compression and improved dynamic response.
These channels sounds excellent independently, but really come alive when stacking!
Shin’s Music builds world class, boutique pedals made by hand in Tokyo.
Set your sounds apart with a SYN-DRIVE!
