The Tom Anderson Raven Classic is a modern take on the classic Jazzmaster / Jaguar offset bodystyle, but Tom Anderson has taken this build to a completely new level. The VA Booster switch is the perfect companion to the P90 pups, allowing for a open, chimey tone akin to a Custom Shop single coil, and a big, beefy bite with the Booster engaged. It almost dips into humbucker territory - we were blown away by the versatility of this setup! In the way of playfeel, Tom Anderson guitars are unparalleled. He seems to have figured out the ideal neck carve; suitable for all players, this guitar is a breeze to play all the way up the neck. Furthermore, the sustain and resonance is unreal... the Alder body rings for days, and allows you to feel the vibrations through your entire arm when strummed unplugged.
