Every guitar in the Distinctive Select series feature woods that we hand picked straight from Suhr's Private Stock vault. No expense is spared as we personally spec every aspect of the guitar to create instruments that are masterpieces, both visually and sonically. Each of these limited edition pieces features a Distinctive Select engraving on the headstock along with a custom 12th fret inlay you won't get anywhere else.

Feast your eyes on this extremely 3D and wildly intricate Burl Redwood top that was meticulously selected for looks, and tone-tapped for amazing resonance. This killer tonewood combination not only gives this instrument an amazingly warm and pleasant resonance, but it looks absolutely stunning in a sea of otherwise commonplace designs. Check out the wood grain in the photos below, we were totally blown away when we unboxed it. The sustain and tone is easily translated to a full, harmonically-rich sound thanks to Suhr's incredibly versatile pickups. Though the pups are vintage voiced, this guitar absolutely screams and is more than capable of handling higher gain structures.
