Gerard Melancon is a true master, if you love the boutique Nashville Tele and their ENDLESS versatility (how could you not?) this is one not to miss. This type of build can often sound sterile and lack character, however, Gerard's work carries no such problem. This guitar is FULL of character, complexity and harmonic overtones. The awesome Quilt top burst rounds everything out with an absolutely wild overall aesthetic that perfectly matches the tonally-supreme, Seymour Duncan pickup combination (complete with 3-way series/parallel mini-toggle).
Like any properly worn-in guitar, this is a true player's instrument. It shows small chips around the bottom bout and has visible fretboard and fret wear. However, we noticed that this only makes this axe even more playable! It absolutely screams, and the playfeel is smooth and unbelievably comfortable. Melancon is a definite keeper! Comes with hardshell case.
