This GF6 represents some of Dennis Fano's finest work, building on an iconic, semi-hollow platform and improving upon it exponentially! Thanks to the meticulous choice in tonewoods, these instruments are built to feel and sound like a properly worn-in, vintage guitar, with all of the benefits of modern design. Tonally, the custom Lollar Regal pickups immediately caught our attention, with a thick midrange and a top-end sparkle reminiscent of that iconic, retro sound. These pups scream when you need it, and easily enter into jazz or blues territory with a slight roll-off of volume and tone. In addition, we were massively impressed with how loud it is when played unplugged! You can feel the resonance and sustain in your entire body when the guitar is strummed unplugged.
