Brand new Fano Alt de Facto GF6 in an eye-catching Faded Trans Cherry finish that gives beautiful definition to the Swamp Ash figuring. As always, painstaking attention to detail and selection of tonewoods are the primary reason these amazing instruments feel and sound like a properly worn-in, vintage guitar, with all of the benefits of modern design. The medium distressing yields just enough of that vintage touch while creating a truly unique aesthetic. Tonally, the custom TV Jones pickups immediately caught our attention, with a thick midrange and a top-end sparkle that sits somewhere between a humbucker and single coil. These pups scream when you need it, and easily enter into jazz or blues territory with a slight roll-off of volume and tone; the tonal balance is impressive. In addition, we were blown away by how loud it is when played unplugged! Strum an open chord, and you can feel the resonance and sustain in your entire body.
