A vintage S style guitar modeled after the late 50s Strat, the look combined with the tone and play feel has us in awe! The hand-wound pickups are nothing short of incredible, true vintage tone but not weak. They exude that familiar 50s vibe, and cut easily through the mix with a chimey, sweet midrange. Fantastic bridge pickup with great bite that doesn't suffer from the typical, thin Stratocaster high end, and stands out with a full, harmonically rich tonal spectrum. Loaded with upgrades such as a premium grade Swamp Ash body Roasted Birdseye Maple neck, the Playa series has since been discontinued and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
