Description
The National Glenwood 95 radiates vintage charm. Whether you're a collector, a player or simply a fan of retro gear, this "map" guitar is an absolute win! Despite the vintage vibe and aesthetic, it plays and sounds fantastic and has the capacity to produce a whole host of different tones, anywhere from that chimey, single-coil quack to the fatter and more harmonically rich sound of a humbucker. With a plethora of switching options, this old-school time capsule can easily straddle the line between a number of different genres - from jazz to country to rock.
We always love to add a vintage piece to our fleet, and the Glenwood instantly became a favorite. Cosmetically, it is in fantastic shape. It has a crack in the fingerboard binding, a chip on the neck by the headstock, finish swirling, a ding on the lower contour of the body and the headstock as well as light marks on the body. It is electronically sound and plays like a dream (especially for a 58-year-old instrument!) It comes with everything pictured, including an original hardshell case.
