Coming to us all the way from the rural coast of Maine, is this beautifully handcrafted R16 Jumbo from Gronlund Guitars. James Greene, a one man show–produces some of the most incredible guitars at his workshop on the coast of Maine. Greene combined his love for music and craftsmanship to design a unique line of instruments. Each Gronlund Guitar is rough cut from kiln dried hardwood. This R16 jumbo, a semi hollow Honduran Mahogany body w/ bookmatched African Mahogany top and a set neck is ready to get down to business. The neck is a one piece Honduran Mahogany with an extremely comfortable 59' C shape and Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard. Together, these woods produce a wonderful amount of sustain and rich balanced tone to the guitar. The TonePros tuneomatic and trapeze tailpiece bridge is comfortable and stable. Get all kinds of jangly tones from the TV Jones Filtertron pickups. The thin open grain varnish adds that quick and smooth playability.
