What an absolute joy to play! Gibson knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. The semi-hollow body design is not only tonally outstanding, it is also incredibly comfortable in just about any playing position. The two P100 pickups (stacked humbuckers w/ p90 covers) are perfectly suited to the instrument, with a woodsy, powerful and harmonically complex tone that carries over the fullness and warmth of that hollow-body sound. With the combination of the pups and the solid center block at the core, feedback is not an issue regardless of gain stage or volume! Also, we were really impressed with how loud this guitar was when played acoustically - if you're ever practicing at bedroom volumes, it's the ideal instrument as it still produces plenty of volume without disturbing the neighbors. Unlike the muddy overtones you experience with many semi-hollow guitars, the string to string articulation on this 135 is absolutely top notch.
EXC+ condition with small nicks and dings throughout the body, a slight yellowing of the binding and light patina on the hardware. Plays perfectly up and down the neck!
