Say hello to the incredible NAMM 2015 Fano stock! The RB6 Thinline is an impressively versatile double cutaway reminiscent of the rich tones of an archtop guitar combined with the sustain and punch of a killer solidbody. This is the PROTOTYPE model and the first in Roasted Mahogany! Talk about a rare bird! Thanks to the meticulous choice in tonewoods, these instruments are built to feel and sound like a properly worn-in, vintage guitar, with all of the benefits of modern design. Not to mention the weight and comfort factor - this guitar is incredibly lightweight and the contours fit any playing position! Tonally, the Jason Lollar pickups immediately jumped out at us, with an unmistakable 50s vibe that lends itself to any genre of music. These pups scream when you need it, and easily enter into jazz or blues territory with a slight roll-off of volume and tone. In addition, we were really impressed with how loud it is when played unplugged; the sustain and resonance shakes your whole hand!
