Description
The Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty Premium Select 7-string is a masterfully engineered signature instrument designed for players who demand exceptional precision, versatility, and uncompromising performance. Combining an innovative neck-through construction with premium tonewoods, advanced electronics, and a striking Carnelian Red finish, this Majesty represents the cutting edge of modern guitar design.
The body features a Honduran mahogany neck-through core, alder wings, and a thick maple top, finished in high-gloss polyester for a stunning presentation. The matching Honduran mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard are complemented by the distinctive Atlante Majesty inlays, creating an unmistakable look that blends beautifully with the instrument's sophisticated design. With a 25.5" scale length, 17" fingerboard radius, and 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets, the Majesty delivers a fast, precise playing experience built for demanding technical passages, extended-range riffing, and expressive lead work.
At the heart of this seven-string powerhouse is a carefully selected pickup and electronics configuration. A DiMarzio Rainmaker humbucker in the neck and a DiMarzio Dreamcatcher humbucker in the bridge provide a broad tonal palette, from articulate cleans and rich, fluid leads to aggressive, tightly defined high-gain tones. The integrated Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles add an additional dimension, allowing players to access acoustic-inspired tones alongside the magnetic pickups.
A three-way magnetic pickup selector keeps things simple, while an additional selector lets you switch between piezo, magnetic, or combined pickup options. Two push/pull's open up your tonal options even more allowing you to split the pickups or tap into Music Man's active preamp with up to 20db of boost. A mono/stereo switching function provides impressive flexibility for both studio and live applications.
Rounding out the design is a custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo, constructed from plated, hardened steel and equipped with Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles. Schaller M6-IND locking tuners provide dependable tuning stability, while the adjustable truss rod can be accessed without removing components or strings. The neck-through construction and graphite acrylic resin shielding further demonstrate the attention to detail behind this premium instrument.
With its bold Carnelian Red finish, sophisticated electronics, premium materials, and extended-range versatility, the Majesty Premium Select 7-String is an exceptional choice for players seeking a guitar with no shortage of capability.
The Majesty Premium Select 7-String is a sophisticated, performance-driven instrument that brings together premium construction, advanced tonal flexibility, and that unmistakable John Petrucci design. From intricate progressive passages to crushing extended-range rhythms, this Carnelian Red Majesty is built to deliver at the highest level.
