After building his first guitar at the age of 15, Brian Watson has continued to refine his hand skills, his design aesthetic and his understanding of how guitars produce sound in order to achieve his goal of building the highest quality acoustic guitars. Building out of his shop in Lakeville, MN, he utilizes high quality tonewoods, traditional techniques, and modern design, in order to create instruments that inspire the player - not only in their musical possibilities, but also with their visual appearance, and the attention to detail of their construction.
Brian Watson is luthier out of the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, we were immediately impressed with the build quality and solid feel of this Orchestra Model, not to mention how good it sounds. The body shape combined with the choice tonewood selection of East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce make for a perfectly balanced tone and a robust resonance that projects enough to fill a room without any additional amplification.

For me the most rewarding part of guitar building is seeing the finished product, an instrument that seems so perfect you wonder how it could come out of the dust and wood shavings of the shop.
