An absolute tone behemoth! This vintage ES-175 puts out tremendous volume when played unplugged. It has a loud, clear voice that remains extremely balanced and warm, a product of the meticulous craftsmanship and aged tonewoods. Although the guitar is in near mint condition for its age, the play feel is reminiscent of a properly road-worn instrument that has been on the road for decades. The neck is extremely comfortable and fast playing all the way up to the last fret. Plugged in, the tone is smooth, and full, with amazing string to string articulation. Despite its iconic appeal in the world of jazz and blues, the dual PAF configuration allows for a variety of sounds. You can easily dial in anything from chimey, bell-like clean tones all the way to a hot-rodded, Brit rock crunch.
EXC+ Condition. Some minute and superficial scratches on the body and a 1" long mark in the clear coat on the back of the guitar. Non original tuners and case.
