If you're looking for the ultimate jazz/pop/funk/metal machine, the Modern is the perfect guitar. The body shape and contours give you easy access and playability up and down the fingerboard. The Swamp Ash body is lightweight and adds firm lows and pleasant highs, giving almost a scooped mids sound. The Maple top give you tons of attack and adds sustain and is balanced out by the warmth of the Pau Ferro neck and board. The SSH bridge humbucker delivers a punchy high output tone, but things clean up a bit with the SSV in the bridge. Overall, this Suhr Modern is a flexible guitar ready for whatever your next gig or session has to offer!
