The first thing we noticed upon picking up this Suhr was the incredible resonance due to the set-neck design, and the resulting sustain is reminiscent of a true, vintage instrument. Start playing it and you'll find a powerful midrange along with an impressively tight bass response in addition to sweet sparkling highs. These tonal characteristics, along with impressive resonance and sustain, are readily apparent from the moment you strum a chord unplugged. The gloss Cocobolo neck and fingerboard help round out the overall aesthetic, adding a gorgeous deep, red contrast to the Burl Top. Killer looks and playability, this is a serious piece of Suhr artistry.
